If the culprit is another road traffic participant you will not have to pay for the damage caused to our car.

If you are the culprit in a traffic accident that damaged our car, you must compensate for the damage caused to the car. The maximum amount of compensatory damages is €500. For those with a PREMIUM plan, the financial liability in the event of an accident is reduced from €500 to €100.

The condition limiting the amount of the compensatory damages does not apply if you caused the damage to us intentionally or due to gross negligence (Article 6.252(1) of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania). The cases where you must pay the compensatory damages are listed and described in detail in the section on vehicles, operation of assets, and liability of the Rental and Service Provision Terms and Conditions.

How much does it cost to use bicycles (In Lithuania only)?

Please note that this service is provided in Lithuania only.

After purchasing a subscription, your 30-minute trips will be free of charge. The number of such trips is unlimited. If you exceed 30 minutes, each additional half-hour will cost 0.50 €.

How do I purchase a subscription?

You can purchase a subscription by clicking on “Menu” -> “My Wallet” -> “Purchase bicycle subscription” in the app.

If you do not want to purchase a subscription, you can just drive as much as you want, and each half-hour of use will cost you only 0.50 €.

2 EUR gift for refueling

When you refill a bee with fuel level less than 25% volume of the tank capacity, a 4 EUR gift will be added to your account for future trips.

ATTENTION! Discount for refuelling the car is applied only when the fuel drops to 1/4 volume of the tank capacity and you fill a full tank. The gift is given just once during your trip.

How do I add my driver’s license?

If you also want to use the car sharing service, you must confirm the validity of your driver’s license. You can do this in minutes by following the instructions in the mobile CityBee app! In the app, choose to add driver’s license. First, the app will ask you to take a selfie. In the next step take a photo of yourself holding your driver’s license. Last step – take a photo of the front side of your driver’s license.

Make sure the document is valid, intact and suitable for using. The document must be removed from a case or sheath. When taking a driver’s license, the document number, personal identification number and personal photo must be clearly visible, so make sure the lighting is good and the photos are bright.

Temporary key lock without completing the trip

If you want to use the car for longer than travelling from point A to point B, lock the car with a key at intermediate stops and take the keys with you. Do not mark the trip as complete in the app. If needed, you can continue your trip using the same car at any time. Only mark the trip as complete in the app when you no longer wish to use the car. Please note that if you lock the car with the key, if it has not been used for some time, but you have not completed the reservation via the app, the price of the travel time will continue to be calculated.

What to do if the car breaks down?

CityBee cars are new and in good technical condition. However, if your car does not start or breaks down (if you hear a strange sound, a red indicator lights on the dashboard or there are other signs of breakdown), please contact us by phone:

Our task is to provide the services you need as soon as possible and smoothly so that any breakdown on the road will cause the least inconvenience and you will be able to continue your trip as soon as possible. No matter where in the city you are, we will quickly make conditions to continue your trip and you will get a compensation.

Who is responsible for KET violations or car accidents?

The driver is responsible for KET violations (for example, a car left in the wrong place, speeding). We take responsibility for providing the driver’s data to the responsible public authority.

In the event of an accident, the contracted company is responsible. If the accident was not the fault of the CityBee customer, no additional fees or penalties will be applied.

If the accident was caused by the CityBee driver, the following options are available:

1. If the damage is less than (€ 500), then the repair bill is rewritten to the driver who damaged the car;

2. If the damage to the car is more than € 500, then the CityBee customer only needs to pay a fine of € 500 and does not have to cover the cost of repairing the car.

If the CityBee driver is at fault for the accident, access to the service is suspended until payment is made.

How to refuel?

The fuel tank cover is on the left. The car takes diesel. The fuel tank cover is opened by pulling towards yourself, then the tank cap is turned counterclockwise. Fuel can be filled at any Circle K petrol station. You will find the payment card in the sun visor panel and the PIN code is written on the payment card. Add fuel, pay with this card and continue your trip.
