What should I do if I want to use the car for more than 24 hours?

If you want to use the car for a day, a week, or longer, you can choose from our prepaid package deals.

The price of the fixed prepaid package will be charged at the beginning of the trip and the price for the extra kilometers and/or time will be charged during or at the end of the journey, depending on the length of your trip.

You can find all of the prepaid packages in the CityBee app by clicking on the chosen car reserve button.

If you happen to exceed the kilometers and /or time included in the price of the package, you will be able to continue the journey safely.

After the prepaid package ends (mileage and time included are finished), you will be paying for additional minutes and/or kilometers as specified in the chosen package deal.

You can also continue your trip by purchasing one more additional prepaid package without completing the active reservation.

If you decide to end the trip before using the time and /or kilometers indicated on the prepaid package, this balance will not be refunded.

Use is no different from a short-term CityBee rent, and all the benefits offered (insurance, fuel, washing) remain as well.

Temporary key lock without completing the trip

If you want to use the car for longer than travelling from point A to point B, lock the car with a key at intermediate stops and take the keys with you. Do not mark the trip as complete in the app. If needed, you can continue your trip using the same car at any time. Only mark the trip as complete in the app when you no longer wish to use the car. Please note that if you lock the car with the key, if it has not been used for some time, but you have not completed the reservation via the app, the price of the travel time will continue to be calculated.

Is the expiration date for ON coupons changing?

Do you need to pay for the fuel?

When using CityBee, you do not need to pay for the fuel – you will pay only for the time used and for kilometers driven.

When the fuel drops to 1/4 volume of the tank capacity, go to any Circle-K gas station in Lithuania and fuel the bee. Fill a full fuel tank and pay with the gas stations’ card which you will find in the CityBee car at the sun visor on the top of the driver’s side.

You will find the payment card PIN code in the CityBee app after opening your active reservation. You will find stickers indicating the type of fuel for a car on the fuel tank cover (both inside and outside).

Are CityBee cars insured?

All CityBee cars are covered by compulsory Civil Liability Insurance, so you do not need to worry about the insurance. The car is equipped with an insurer-compliant, satellite-linked security system that will protect CityBee from possible theft.

In the event of a car accident where you are not the culprit (for example, a person who has violated the road traffic regulations hits your car), the insurance will cover the incurred losses and you will not have to pay anything extra.

If you drive a CityBee car and get in a car accident where you are the culprit, you will be subject to financial liability of up to €600. If the damage caused to the car is more than €600, the CityBee customer only needs to pay the maximum amount of financial liability of €600, even when the losses incurred are higher.

In case Porsche Taycan is damaged in a traffic accident through your fault, you will compensate us for the damages suffered due to the traffic accident, if you are between 25 and 30 years old, up to €15000, if you are 30 years and older – up to €5000, in the case a reduced financial responsibility was purchase in the Mobile App – an amount not exceeding €1000.

In case of non-insured events (for example, if you drive under influence, recklessly, etc.) you will have to pay the full amount for the damage caused.

How does a long-term car reservation for natural persons work?

Currently, CityBee offers a long-term car rental, and any car from the CityBee car park can be rented. Usage is no different from short-term CityBee rent service, and all the offered benefits (insurance, fuel, washing) remain.

How long can a person use a car?

The maximum length of a reservation is 28 days. If you wish to continue using CityBee service longer, just purchase another package or continue the trip with the “pay as you go” option and we will take the necessary steps to issue a monthly invoice for your ongoing trip.

What is the amount of time you will be charged for a trip when an individual uses the car?

During long-term reservation (trip package), the sum is charged before the start of the trip and if additional time and/or km is required after the prepayment package ends, the sum for the actual accumulated amount will be deducted during or at the end of the trip.

The money will be deducted from your selected card. If you have money in your CityBee wallet or have accumulated credit, for example for refueling, the funds will be deducted from this amount first. If the amount cannot be deducted, we will ask you to pay it or leave the car.

2022 has started with a new addition to our bee hive – Toyota RAV4.

We recommend using this car for both short trips around the city, daily work, as well as longer trips, seeing the beautiful nature of Latvia with friends or family.
Continuing to protect nature, we have chosen a car equipped with a Hybrid engine. This provides the driver with a combined fuel consumption of 4.5l / 100km, which is a very good indicator given the size of the car.
Toyota Rav4 has many different good features, but we want to highlight one that will be very useful for us living in Latvia! Forget about cold hands, because this car is equipped with steering wheel heating!
In addition, You won’t have to worry about the things You take with you and their size, because this car is really roomy – its boot capacity is 580l, but it can be increased by lowering the row of rear seats.
