Terms of Services
CityBee terms of services are described in the following documents:
BeeChill fee covers towing costs if the vehicle needs to be towed due to an accident—just make sure to inform us right away, and we’ll handle the rest.
However, the BeeChill fee does not cover towing costs in the following situations:
Running out of charge: If you discharge the EV battery, towing costs won’t be covered, as it’s your responsibility to ensure the vehicle has enough charge, just like with fuel in traditional cars.
Parking violations: If the vehicle is towed because of a traffic violation, such as parking in a restricted area, the fee will not cover the costs and you’ll be responsible for the towing charges.
In these cases, it’s important to follow traffic rules and keep an eye on the vehicle’s battery or fuel level to avoid extra costs. For more details, please refer to our Terms of Service or Pricelist.
Please note that this service is provided in Lithuania and Estonia.
As in a regular car, you need to turn the key or press a „Start engine“ button.
Important: It does not turn on until you properly put on a seatbelt.
Moreover, the engine is absolutely silent, so you won’t hear it turned on.
The BeeChill fee has your back by covering damages in the event of an accident where you’re at fault. Just remember, it’s essential to report the incident to us immediately.
However, there are certain situations where the BeeChill fee won’t cover the damages. These exceptions are outlined in our Terms of Service (section 7.17) and include cases such as:
Failing to report the incident to us;
Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
Violating traffic regulations;
Engaging in intentional or grossly negligent actions.
To make sure you’re protected, the BeeChill fee is applied to each trip as outlined in our our Pricelist. For full details, we encourage you to check out the Terms of Service.
In the event that you have spent your personal funds, for example, to refuel the CityBee vehicle or have purchased window fluid, CityBee will return them to you if you perform the following actions:
Write to info@citybee.lv
Send a photo with a receipt from a gas station
Briefly explain the reason why you had to use your own funds
Fill out the refund form and send it back
CityBee will return the funds to your personal account within a week.
Important:
Currently, CityBee does not have the option to return the spent funds by adding them to your CityBee profile, but only to your personal bank account.
Please note that the bank account to which the funds are to be returned must match the name of the CityBee profile owner to whom the reservation was made.
All van drivers (except the ones who drive fully electric vans) have to purchase vignettes themselves and pay driving charges if they drive on toll roads.
You can find all toll roads in Lithuania here: https://lakd.lrv.lt/lt/keliu-mokesciai-ir-rinkliavos/naudotojo-mokestis/apmokestinti-keliai.
You can purchase the vignette here: https://pirkti.keliumokestis.lt/purchase/cart.xhtml.
In Latvia vignettes are included in the price and drivers don’t have to buy it.
In Estonia You have to buy vignette if the vehicle weights more than 3500kg.
You can purchase the vignette here: https://www.teetasu.ee/
During your CityBee subscription period, you can choose between using a subscription plan trip or purchasing a pre-paid trip package for a longer route at the start of each trip. To subscribe to CityBee, open the CityBee app and go to the ‘Subscription’ section. Choose the plan that best suits you from the available options. The plan cost will be automatically charged to the payment card linked to your CityBee account. Once the payment is successful, you’ll receive a confirmation email. The purchased plan will be activated immediately and will be valid for 30 days.
