How to get started with CityBee?

To sign up, you need to download the CityBee app to your smart iOS or Android phone.

To register, enter the requested personal data and a valid telephone number to verify signing up.

The final step is to link a payment card to your CityBee account.

If you want to use a car-sharing service, you must confirm your driving license’s validity. You can do it just in a few minutes by following the instructions in the app!

If the car gets dirty during a long-term rental in Lithuania, we offer several options:

Go to the PRO BRO tunnel car wash and wash your car for free;

In Latvia

Payment for fuel

When using CityBee, you do not need to pay for the fuel – you will pay only for the time used and for kilometers driven.

When the fuel drops to 1/4 volume of the tank capacity, go to any Circle-K gas station in Lithuania and fuel the bee. Fill a full fuel tank and pay with the gas stations’ card which you will find in the CityBee car at the sun visor on the top of the driver’s side.

You will find the payment card PIN code and fuel type in the CityBee app after opening your active reservation.

Why is the service labeled as BETA?

The CityBee subscription is a test service. We are constantly looking for new ways to help our customers travel more affordably and conveniently. In planning the CityBee subscription, we considered the needs of our most active customers and decided to offer plans for the most common types of city trips, allowing customers to enjoy cost-effective travel without worrying about time. We will periodically evaluate the service’s activity and improve it as needed. All customer feedback and expectations are highly appreciated. If you have any comments, please reach out to info@citybee.lt.

CityBee reserves the right to change the terms of the CityBee subscription at any time.

Can the CityBee subscription plan be extended?

Do I have to report damages / in which cases?

It’s important to report damages, and here’s when:

Before starting your trip: No need to worry about minor scratches or dents—we’ll take care of those. However, if you notice anything that could make the car unsafe or unfit to drive, such as a flat tire, broken window, loose or missing trim, or a non-functioning light, please report it through the CityBee app.

During your trip: Report any damage to the vehicle that occurs, no matter how small. This includes accidents or collisions, regardless of who is at fault. By reporting promptly, you’ll ensure you’re covered by the BeeChill fee, and we’ll handle the rest. If you fail to report, you could be held responsible for damages. It’s always better to let us know right away!

Do you pass on my personal data to third parties? Who processes my data? In which countries is my data processed?

We rely on other legal entities in the provision of our services (data centres, document, photo verification, administration, payment, audit, accounting, legal and advisory services, debt collection, mobile app usage analysis and statistics monitoring, direct marketing, email, SMS, payment intermediaries, etc.)

In all cases, we ensure that third parties providing services comply with our obligations of confidentiality and proper protection of personal data.

If necessary, your personal data may be provided to state and municipal authorities in accordance with applicable legislation and / or our legitimate interests.

After an accident involving a CityBee car used on your behalf, your data is transferred to insurance companies and, if necessary, to other parties involved in the accident.

CityBee also has the right and, in certain cases, the obligation to pass on information about road traffic offences committed by customers (e.g., speeding, drunk-driving) to the responsible authorities (e.g., the Police).

The CityBee Privacy Policy provides detailed information on the purpose of processing your personal data and the duration of storage thereof.

The cover for the gas tank is opened by pressing it. Then the cap is screwed off by turning counter-clockwise. The gas tank is on the right side. The fuel type is indicated on the sticker that is on the cover for the gas tank, the sun visor, and in the vehicle registration certificate, found in the car’s glovebox. You can fill up at any Circle K station. You will find the fuel card in the visor and you can find the PIN code in app just press “PIN”. Pay with that card and keep driving 🙂
