The CityBee subscription is a test service. We are constantly looking for new ways to help our customers travel more affordably and conveniently. In planning the CityBee subscription, we considered the needs of our most active customers and decided to offer plans for the most common types of city trips, allowing customers to enjoy cost-effective travel without worrying about time. We will periodically evaluate the service’s activity and improve it as needed. All customer feedback and expectations are highly appreciated. CityBee reserves the right to change the terms of the CityBee subscription at any time.
If you’d like to use the car-sharing service, you’ll need to confirm the validity of your driver’s license.
You can do this in just a few minutes by following the steps in the ‘CityBee’ app. Open the app, choose Add driver’s license and enter your driver license number.
We now offer several ways to confirm your license:
Smart-ID or Mobile-ID
Available for users whose driver’s license can be verified through these electronic identification methods.
Uploading photos
If you prefer pictures, you can complete the process by taking a few photos directly in the app. You’ll be asked to:
1) Take a selfie;
2) Take a selfie while holding your driver’s license;
3) Take a photo of the front side of the document.
Whichever method you choose, please make sure your document is valid and undamaged. When taking photos ensure good lighting and that document is removed from any cover or case so your document number, personal identification number, and personal photo can be clearly seen.
Note: We accept only photocard driver’s licenses.
When using CityBee, you don’t have to pay for fuel yourself – you only pay for the time and kilometers you drive.
Refueling is easy!
Go to any of our partner Circle K gas stations. Open the CityBee app and start the refueling. Follow the simple instructions, fill up, and hit the road!
If the fuel is below 1/4 of the tank, you’ll receive a €2 discount for topping up.
Step by Step refueling guide
Check the Reservation map in the app to see nearby fuel stations. Tap a station for details and directions, then drive there.
When you arrive, tap the notification or open the CityBee app, go to Reservation, and select Refuel.
The app shows available pumps. Pick your pump, activate it, and wait for confirmation.
When it says, “Ready to fuel,” pick up the nozzle and start fueling. Return the nozzle when finished. The app will update the fueling status automatically.
If you decide not to refuel, you can cancel in two ways:
Manual cancel: Pick up the nozzle and immediately return it – the refueling is canceled.
Automatic cancel: If the nozzle is never picked up, the app will automatically cancel the refueling after 2 minutes of inactivity.
In rare cases, you may need to use the fuel card inside the car. This happens if the pump doesn’t work via the app or if you’re refueling outside the Baltic States. The CityBee app shows the PIN code and fuel type under your active reservation.
The usage time of the car starts from the moment of unlocking the car or when you click “extend the reservation” and ends when the car is locked via the smartphone app.
Each time you use CityBee, you are able to choose “pay as you go” or prepaid packages.
Trip start fee – additionally applicable to all “pay as you go” trips (not applicable to travel packages). Fee amount for each car is indicated in the App.
Prepaid packages – the prices for the packages are fixed. Prepaid package prices are based on the time and kilometers included. If the time or kilometers included in the package are exceeded, the additional price is calculated according to the set tariff, specified when choosing the package.
You can find all of the available packages and prices in the CityBee app and use the custom package function.
There is no extra charge for fuel and insurance – we take care of it.
Vans have their own parking zones, which are different from the ones for cars. Just tap the van icon in the app to see where you can go. The color-coding works the same way you’re used to:
– Clear zones – Park or end your trip here anytime, as long as you follow regular parking rules
– Yellow zones – These might add a small fee or give you a discount when you start or finish a trip. Tap the € symbol to check the exact amount for that zone
– Grey zones – No ending trips here, sorry!
The good news? You don’t have to bring the van back to where you picked it up. Any allowed van zone works.
One thing to keep in mind: Electric vans have their own special zones. If you plan to drive an electric van, make sure to select it in the app, that way you’ll only see their specific zones.

Please note that this service is provided in Lithuania only.
As this vehicle is intended for city use, it is not equipped with a high-mileage battery. Therefore, if you are planning to go outside the city, a speed limited at 90 km/h ensures that the car does not use too much energy while driving. This way, You will safely reach the nearest electric charging station.
In the CityBee app, parking zones marked in yellow usually have a drop-off and/or pick-up fee for CityBee cars. This fee does not apply to trips made under the CityBee subscription. The drop-off fee in the yellow CityBee zone is not charged even if the trip starts under the subscription plan but ends with the pay-as-you-go pricing due to exceeding the allocated kilometers and/or minutes in the subscription plan.
When purchasing additional trips, i.e., trip packages, during the subscription period, the CityBee drop-off and/or pick-up fee waiver in the yellow zone does not apply for the package trips.

To subscribe to CityBee, open the CityBee app and go to the ‘Subscription’ section. Choose the plan that best suits you from the available options. The plan cost will be automatically charged to the payment card linked to your CityBee account. Once the payment is successful, you’ll receive a confirmation email. The purchased plan will be activated immediately and will be valid for 30 days.
